Oh no! How can I be so careless, I'm again late. I can't afford to be late. It's all the fault of this alarm clock don't know, how it turns off automatically.

She panicked...

"it is you who always did that" her mind mocked her.

"Fast siya! If you want to do this job then you have to reach the office on time at any cost"

She ran toward the washroom to get ready for the office.

Yes, it's been two months since Siya came here to Mumbai and got settled, she works in ASR Enterprises.

After locking her apartment, she took a cab to the office

"Thank you so much, God! you again saved my job. Don't know what would have happened if I had been a little more late!"

It's been 2 months since she came to Mumbai and settled here. By the grace of God, all is well so far. She was also scared as to how everything would turn out.

But everything went very smoothly, even though she found a nice and comfortable apartment. The people in this office are also very nice.

"Good morning siya, you have come exactly on time"

People here congratulate her every day, for staying here till now without any problem. They always say that she is very lucky, and that is why she is still working in ASR enterprises.

She saw the time on her handwatch, it's 9:45 now. She panicked and quickly got into the employee's elevator and pressed the 25th-floor button.

This building is so big, maybe there are 40-50 at least, and there are probably more on renovation. This building is luxurious.

Sometimes She wonders how much money exactly the boss has. He has lots of money, there's no doubt about that.

She heard a ding sound and came out from the lift and went towards her cabin, she opened the door and went inside.

She was just collecting some files when her cabin's door opened and an employee came, he hurriedly came to her in panic.

"Siya, Are all the files ready for today's meeting?

"Yes! Everything is prepared don't worry. Why are you so worried?"

"Arey! you know na this meeting is very important. If anything goes wrong today, Mr. Rathore will fire the entire team."

Siya creased her brows.

"Mr. Rathore is not that angry kind of person."

He looked at her...

"You will say this because he never gets angry at you. Once! The food department employee made a small mistake. And guess what, Mr. Rathore changed the entire department in a single day out of anger. So you can imagine why I am so scared."

Siya's expression got changed, listening to him.

Yes, it's true, Mr. Rathore never gets angry with Siya, even though she commits so many mistakes, he never says anything to her. That's why sometimes it is difficult for her to trust others when they say that Mr. Rathore is a very angry person.

Siya was about to answer him but someone knocked on her door.

Mrs. Martha came inside...

"Mr. Rathore has arrived in the office so, stop gossiping and get on with your work.

Hearing this, everyone panicked and started doing their work.

Siya also hurriedly collected the files of today's meeting and went towards his office.

Her heart was beating very loudly. This always happens to her, she doesn't know why. Her heart starts beating so fast just by his name. Maybe out of fear!

She reached his cabin and nervously knocked on the door.

"Come in"

She heard a deep voice from across the door.

Damn! his voice and era is so dominating. Sometimes she gets very strange feelings from him.

She quickly went inside while controlling herself,

she tried his best not to make any mistakes in front of him. Because every time she makes some mistake, especially in front of him.

Don't know how, Even though she is not at all a clumsy or irresponsible type of girl.

She meets a new version of herself in front of Mr. Rathore, whom she did not even know to date.

She was about to place the files on his table but suddenly her leg twisted and all the files fell on the ground along with her. She closed her eyes tightly in fear of falling but she never touched the ground.

She felt someone's hand on her waist, so she opened her eyes with a jerk. This hand did not belong to anyone else but to the boos "Mr. Rathore".

If something like this had happened for the first time, she would have been very shocked. But now it happens all the time.

Yes, sometimes she is careless but she keeps falling in front of Mr. Rathore too much. And like a hero, he saves her from falling every time.

Siya realized that she had been staring at him for a long time, that too without blinking. She panicked thinking what Mr. Rathore might be thinking about her.

She gently pushed Mr. Rathore away from her and she sat down and started picking up the scattered files.

Right now, She is feeling very nervous and shy because of what happened just now.

He also sat down and started collecting the scattered files along with her. Siya moved her hand forward to pick up the last file, similarly, Mr. Rathore also placed his hand on her hand.

She looked at him and surprisingly he was also looking at her, he didn't even pretend to look away.

She collected all the files and placed them on the table.

She said an inaudible sorry and quickly walked towards the door.

Before she could move forward,

Arjun held her hand and pulled her towards himself due to which, she bumped into his chest.

She placed her hand on his chest to create some distance. she felt his hard muscles.

"How muscular he is! His body is so perfect, he must be working out a lot, and that's why his body is so good. I wish I could see his body without a shirt once."

She thought because she is a fitness lover herself...

She came out of her dirty imagination when she saw, how close Mr. Rathore was to her. He was holding her so tightly as if he wouldn't let her go anywhere.

He tilted his head slightly as if he was about to kiss her. Their breaths mingled with each other.

He is very muscular tall probably 6 feet 5 inches. While Siya is only 5 feet 5 inches, She barely reaches his chest.

They both were just staring at each other, Siya's heart was beating very loudly due to such proximity. Arjun softly tucked a strand of Siya's hair behind her ear. Siya felt goosebumps on her body because of his touch. Her face had become red like a tomato.

She was never like this, a shy and under-confident type.

Siya was always a very bold and extrovert kind of person. She never felt shy around anyone, but after meeting him, she came face to face with a new version of herself of which she was unaware.

Siya always feels shy and nervous whenever he is around her because she can't even talk to him properly as if he affects her a lot. This is even true because he affects her a lot.

Whenever Arjun is around her, she starts feeling very shy and nervous, her heart starts beating very fast. Her body also reacts very strangely whenever he touches her. She feels many strange things that she has never experienced before.

She came out of her thoughts when she felt a hand on her cheeks. He was looking at her very deeply as if he was trying to read her.

Both of them were very close to each other.

They both jerked away from each other when they heard a knock on the door.

Siya maintained proper distance from him and she breathed a sigh of relief.

He looked towards the door with irritation.

"Come In"

An employee came into the office, scared.

"Sir it's time to start the meeting. All the investors have already arrived and everyone is waiting for you. you should be there!!"

Arjun raised his eyebrows...

"I can't remember when I made you my assistant?"

Hearing his words, he started trembling out of fear.

"Fucking tell me, when I made you my assistant"

He shouted...

Even Siya started trembling, hearing his voice.

"No si..r.. yo..u didn't.."

he stammered badly...

"Then why the hell did you come to inform me, what should I do or do not? Who the hell are you to fucking tell me anything"

"Sorry sir! I am very sorry. Investors asked me to inform you, sir, Forgive me, sir, I didn't do it intentionally!"

he cried out of fear.

"Who pays your salary, who is your boss? Me or that fucking investor"

"Sir, please I didn't..."

Mr. Rathore showed his hand to signal him to stop.

"Get out of here right now! Go and work with those, whose orders you follow."

He said in a dangerously calm voice...

"Please, sir! Don't do this, Please! I am sorry sir. I need this job...please sir, please don't fire me, please forgive me, sir. Please!"

He started crying like a child, seeing his condition even Siya felt sorry for him.

Get out of here before I lose my temper and blacklist you, so you cannot get a job anywhere in this world"

"No sir, please don't do this I need this job. Please sir, please forgive me for the last time. I am begging you!"

"You fuc...."

Arjun suddenly stopped while saying something

Siya fearfully held Arjun's hand to stop him...

Arjun looked at Siya calmly.

"Sir please forgive him! Please, sir, give him another chance."

Her heart was beating very fast.

She closed her eyes tightly thinking that Arjun would shout at her too because she interrupted him in the middle.

Arjun took a deep breath...

"Fine! Get the hell out of here. Don't ever disturb me in the future, especially when I am doing something important. Now go and do your work."

Siya quickly removed her hand.

" Thanks "

"Siya, pick up the files and come with me"

Siya felt something strange after hearing her name from his mouth.

He never calls her Miss Mehra like he calls others and somehow Siya also likes it, because it makes her feel special.

She picked up the files and started following him.

He went into his private elevator and Siya followed him. He doesn't like Siya to use the employee elevator. Arjun says that Siya should take care of his things and also use them as she is his assistant.

Yes! SIYA MEHRA is an E-commerce marketer ( someone who implements, and presents marketing campaigns to increase customer engagement ) and his personal secretary too.
